The finish
Three places a jumper gives itself away
A cuff that has lost its rib. A hem that rolls. A neck that stretches. These are the three places a jumper shows what it is. Look at them when yours arrives.
The cuff
Relaxed body with dropped shoulders, ribbed cuffs and hem.
The hem
A rib as deep as the cuff, so the hem sits flat over a waistband instead of rolling. Lay it flat and look at the edge.
The neck
A ribbed band that holds its shape after it has gone over your head. On a roll neck, the same rib all the way up.

Measured flat, in centimetres
Every chart is measured on the piece itself, laid flat. Compare it with a jumper you own and like the fit of. That is more reliable than a size label.
How to measure

Chest
Lay it flat. Measure straight across, 2 cm below the underarm.

Length
From the highest point of the shoulder, next to the neck, straight down to the hem.

Sleeve
From the underarm seam to the end of the cuff.

Care
Wash it so it keeps its shape
The care label on the piece comes first. Where it allows, this is how we'd treat it.

Wash cold, inside out
Thirty degrees or by hand, on a wool cycle if your machine has one. Inside out protects the surface of the knit.

Don't wring it
Press the water out between two towels. Wringing pulls the shape out of the knit.

Dry flat, away from heat
Lay it on a towel, ease it back into shape and leave it. No tumble dryer, no radiator, no hanger while wet.

Fold, don't hang
A hanger stretches the shoulders over time. Folded on a shelf, it keeps its line.

Comb the pills
Some pilling in the first weeks is normal on most knits. A knitwear comb removes it without thinning the fabric.

Store it clean
Moths go for worn wool. Wash before it goes away for the summer, and store it folded in a cotton bag.
Treated this way, a jumper at this price should see more than one winter. If it doesn't, tell us.

How do I choose the right size?
Where a piece has its measurements up, you will find them on the product page: measured flat, in centimetres, for that piece rather than a generic chart. Lay a jumper you already own flat, measure it the same way, and compare.
We are still measuring part of the collection. If the numbers are not up yet, email us and a person sends them within one working day.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are sent tracked, and the tracking number is emailed to you. Your delivery estimate is shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you list what the jumper is made of?
Where we can verify the fibre, it is on the product page. Where we cannot, we describe the knit, the weight and the rib instead of guessing at a percentage.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Checkout is encrypted and handled by the payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
How do I reach you?
By email, at the address on the contact page. A person, not a chatbot, replies within one working day, Monday to Friday.
How returns work here
Thirty days to return. Refunded in three working days.
Thirty days to send it back, unworn and with the tags on. Return postage is yours to cover; we say so here rather than in the small print. Nothing else is deducted.
Refunded within three working days of the parcel reaching us, to the card you paid with.
